Inaugural Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon™
This amazing half marathon race is a South Carolina Dream! Experience Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon™ and experience a year round, nationally acclaimed vacation destination as you like it best…on your feet. This surfing themed half marathon, with its surfboard finisher medals, surf style bands, awesome post race Beach Party presented by Margaritaville is the new MUST do race on the Atlantic Coast. Run a point to point race thru pristine and picturesque scenery, past some of Myrtle Beach’s best neighborhoods, circling eclectic Broadway at the Beach and heading east towards the beach. Reach the Atlantic shore and take in the salty breeze as you run past scenic and striking Ocean Blvd making your way through typical beach stores and cafes lined up with spectators, cheering you on, as you make your final strides to the new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and the finish line. After the event, pull up your beach chair and relax at Plyler Park by the main stage enjoying the post event live entertainment presented by Margaritaville....maybe even take a swim in the warm waves. Why not, it’s Myrtle Beach, come run and have an awesome time!

There is NO packet pick-up on race day. Your photo ID is required to pick up your race packet.
E-Confirmations:
No confirmation cards will be mailed out. However, an eConfirmation email will be sent our about 30 days prior to the event showing your bib number and other pertinent information. Please print out this email and bring with you to the Health & Fitness Expo. If you do not receive your email, we will have additional forms on site for your convenience, as well as a way for you to look up your bib number.

Start this event to the sound of trumpeteers announcing your entrance to the course and the king and his knights on their regal horses leading you in a victory charge towards your personal half marathon crusade. This is just a preview of what awaits at the Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon start and beyond. Where else can you feel like a King or Queen.
The Start Line is approximately 3-4 miles from most Myrtle Beach hotels and approximately 4 miles from our host hotel. The Start Line opens at 5:30 am on race day. There will be water and Gatorade sports drink. The Start Line is located just east of the park so there is plenty of room to stretch out before the race. There will be plenty of port-o-lets situated throughout the start line area.

Once you finish running, there's still a lot to do at the Finish Line! Come join the most awesome Beach Party presented by Margaritaville and Landshark Beer to celebrate your accomplishment. Awards, munchies, beer and festivities await you. Stay a while and listen to the sweet sounds of the Finish Line feature bands and dip your tired toes in the warm Atlantic waters. Remember that the average water temperature in Myrtle Beach is 66F at this time of the year! What a way to chill and soak those tired feet!

Finisher Medals
Runners travel from all over the world to run for a medal. Get ready to receive the most incredible and humongous medal in the industry. We have created the "original" surfboard medals to award all our finishers. Each year the medals will evolve so add a new medal to your collection!

If you are not present to collect your award and you want us to send you the award by mail, please download the Awards Claim Form and send it in with the appropriate fee for shipping and handling. Please note that awards are issued based on chip time.
