General Information
This amazing half marathon race is a South Carolina Dream! Experience Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon™ and experience a year round, nationally acclaimed vacation destination as you like it best…on your feet. This surfing themed half marathon, with its surfboard finisher medals, surf style bands and awesome post race beach party is the new MUST do race on the Atlantic Coast. Our awesome course features over 5 miles of oceanfront running! After the event, pull up your beach chair and relax at Plyler Park by the main stage enjoying the post event live entertainment….maybe even take a swim in the warm waves. Why not, it’s Myrtle Beach, come run and have an awesome time!
Runners and walkers are welcome along with strollers. The half marathon time limit is 3.5 hours/16 minute mile pace.
Pacing Team: Each pace group will be led by 1-2 experienced pacers who will run as close to even splits as possible during the race to ensure finishing within a minute of the goal time. Pacers will line up about 15 minutes prior to the race start and have a designated sign indicating the goal time.

Unless you purchase VIP Packet Pick-Up, you must pick up your race packet for the Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon prior to race day.

GEAR CHECK
Gear check will be available on race morning for the half marathon! Gear check drop-off will be located at the Boardwalk near the start line and will open at 6:00 am.
The drawstring bag given to you at packet pick-up should be used as your gear check bag. Tear the gear check tag from your bib number and attach with the zip tie supplied. To claim your gear bag, show your bib number to the volunteer. Both the bib number and the number attached to the bag MUST match.
All bags must be claimed by 11:00 AM. Bags not claimed will be disposed of. Do not leave valuables, cash or jewelry in your gear bag. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Post-Race Party & Beer Garden
Once you finish running, there’s still a lot to do at the finish line! Celebrate your victory with us at the Plyler Park post-race concert & beer garden! Stay a while and listen to the sweet sounds of the Finish Line bands and dip your tired toes in the warm Atlantic waters. Remember that the average water temperature in Myrtle Beach is 66 degrees at this time of the year! What a way to chill and soak those tired feet!

You will need to provide valid driver’s license or identification to enter. Please note, the Beer Garden is for participants only – sorry, no spectators allowed!
Finisher Medals
Runners travel from all over the world to run for a medal. Get ready to receive the most incredible surfboard medal in the industry. We have created the “original” surfboard medals to award all our finishers. Each year the medals will evolve so add a new medal to your collection!

The Awards Presentation for Top 3 overall male/female and Top 3 overall masters male/female will take place at 9:00am at the stage in Plyler Park. Awards for Top 3 in each age group will take place at the stage at 10:00am. Overall awards are issued based on gun time and age group awards are based on chip time.
