| The "Corey Morrison Fastest Local Finisher" Award is dedicated to the memory of an avid runner who passed away far too young. One of the last races Corey ran was the 2020 Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon where he finished in 1:26:40, earning him the title of Fastest Local Male! Corey was in training for the 2021 Myrtle Beach Marathon when his life was cut short on February 8, 2021. He attended St. James High School and ran Cross Country under Coach Brian Conary.
